Mary E. (Dixon) Johnson, 70, of Westfield, Ma passed peacefully on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Baystate Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born May 4, 1954 in Presque Isle, Maine to George T. Dixon and Phyllis (Beaulieu) Dixon. Predeceased by her parents and brothers Richard A. Dixon and Leonard T. Dixon, she leaves her daughters, Kelsey Cote and her husband Raymond, Kaitlyn Massey and her partner Ryan McCarthy and grandchildren, Ian Dixon, Rebecca Dixon and Lauren Cote, all of Westfield. She is survived by her sisters Darlene Demorad of Suffield, CT, Laurie McMahon (Terrence) of Westfield, MA, Cynthia Hazelton of Buxton, ME, Tammey White (Kim) of Easton, ME and sister-in-law Donna Dixon of Sykesville, MD, eight nephews, Michael Martin (Catherine); David Dixon; George Dixon (Kelly); Kyle White (Chelsey); Conner McMahon (Jordan); Sam Hazelton (Meg); CJ McMahon (Diana); and Tom Hazelton (Sara) and their families, many great-nieces and great-nephews, many dear cousins. She worked as an administrative assistant for several offices over the years and ended her career driving special needs kids to school and back and absolutely loved it. She was at her happiest with "her kids". In her younger years she enjoyed square dancing while living in Louisiana. She loved to go to Old Orchard Beach and especially enjoyed the time she spent at East Grand Lake, New Brunswick, Canada with family. Spending time with her grandchildren was always on the top of her list. She always enjoyed holidays with family and friends. A Graveside Service will be held at Saint Denis Catholic Cemetery in Fort Fairfield, Maine on September 21, 2024. Memorial contributions may be made to D’Amour Cancer Center.
