Mary E. Hale

SPRINGFIELD-Mary E. Hale,63, passed away on September 8, 2013 surrounded by her family. Born on September 9, 1949 in Anchorage, AK to Walter and Ann (Gregory) Whitley, she had worked for many years at Milton Bradley. Ms. Hale enjoyed planting and gardening, shooting pool, playing keno and going to the casinos. Predeceased by her parents, son, Timothy S. Curtiss, brothers: Lyle Whitley, Raymond Whitley and William Whitley; sisters: Delores Grant, Joan Whitley, Christine Whitley and Margaret Whitley, she leaves her companion of 22 years, Gary Delisle of Springfield, MA, daughter, Michelle D. Hale of Springfield, MA, brothers: Walter Whitley, Jr., Steven Whitley and David Whitley of AK; sisters: Kathy Rickey (Jack) of MO, Julie Demientieff and Sandra Roesing of AK and her granddaughter, Lauren Nicole Stone. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial to be held in her native Alaska.
