Martha F. Cozanitis

Martha F Cozanitis 63, passed away on February 1, 2024 in Springfield MA. She is predeceased by her sister Elizabeth Sahr, and parents James Kozanitis, Isabel Kozanitis, & Joan Grant. She is survived by her West Coast Sisters: Rose & Elaine (MarLea) and East Coast Sisters & Brothers: Athena, Lorraine, Penny, James (Rula), & Michael. Her Nephews Warren III, Brian (Jamie), Elfen, Matthew, James (Kimberly). Nieces: Jessica (Drew), Kara, Alex (Justin), & Juanita, Great Nephews Dylan, Warren IV, Great Nieces: Fairryn & Emma, Great Grand Nephew Warren V.
She was a long-time resident of East Longmeadow MA. Working at Lyndale Garage for many years.
Prior to her residence in Agawam nursing home, and sisters passing, she shared her home with her sister Liz, and niece Juanita, and multiple cats. She was Loved by many. Enjoyed traveling and spending time in Provincetown, MA. Auburn NY, Newport, and East Dorset VT. With family and friends. No one ever remained a stranger.
She made friends wherever she went. Loved Dogs and Cats and spent some time pet sitting for friends.
There will be no services at this time. A Memorial Picnic or two, will be planned for some time in June 2024. An announcement will be made at that time.
