Springfield – Marlene M. Fiore, 78, passed away at home in Springfield on Saturday, September 29, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Springfield, Massachusetts to the late Lawrence and Genivieve (Marotta) Reopel, she was fondly known as “Nonie” to all.
Marlene was a kind, compassionate homemaker who loved her children and grandchildren unconditionally.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children: her sons Donald R. Fiore and his wife Kathleen of Northfield, MA, Mark A. Fiore of Springfield, MA, Michael A. Fiore and his wife Sharon of Palmer, MA and her daughter, Marie C. Fiore and her partner Catherine Martin of Springfield, MA. She also leaves her brother Eugene Reopel of CA, and her sisters, Mildred Payeur and her husband Robert and Beverly Baskin and her husband Arthur, all of Florida. She was predeceased by her brother Lawrence Reopel. Jr.
Family and friends are invited to a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00AM on Friday, October 12, 2018 at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 1023 Parker Street, Springfield, MA. Burial will be at a later date.
