Maria V. Lee

Maria V. Lee, 81, of Springfield died on January 19, 2014 at Baystate Medical Center. Born at home in Farmington, CT. and a resident of Springfield for 55 years, she loved cooking, shopping and taking care of her family, especially her great granddaughter. A recipient of a liver transplant in 1998, the family would like to thank the donor and family for their greatest act of kindness, allowing many more years with Maria. Predeceased by her parents, Jasper and Pasqualina (Grossi) Mastrobattista who were born in Linola, Italy, sisters Joanne Butler and Ellen Drown and daughter-in-law Veronica Rice Lee, she is survived by her husband Baldwin Lee, son Scott, daughters Debra and Nancy Lee all of Springfield, son-in-law Keith Archambault of Agawam, sisters Betty Cannon of NC and Alice Frandsen of CA, grandchildren Jonathan Archambault, Kristine Kpodjedo, Joshua Kwasny and a great grandchild Kaci Lee Rodriguez.Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 4:00PM at Trinity United Methodist Church, 361 Sumner Ave, Springfield, MA.
