Margaret M. L. Jackson, 73, passed away on August 12, 2014. A longtime city resident, she was an Assistant Manager at Merrimaid Laundry and loved to crochet.
Born in Quincy, Florida on September 15, 1940, she is predeceased by her parents Marie (Britt) and James C. Wilder, her husband, Willie Lee Jackson, Sr., her son Willie Lee Jackson Jr., great grandaughter Cammia Dancy and siblings Levi Wilder, Virginia Holley, Pinkie Mae Morris and Drucilla Brady. She leaves her daughter Darlean Thomas (fiancée Edgar Wilcox), siblings Odell Wilder, Dupree Wilder and Jerome Wilder, Lillie Menton-Hill, Patricia Hughes and Bettie Wilder, all of Springfield, grandchildren Tamiekia Thomas, Tommie Flounery, Tarnesha Thomas, Brittany Jackson, Dawayne Jackson, Michael Jackson, Travis Jackson and LaTasha Jackson and many great grandchildren.
The calling hour will be at 11AM on August 19, 2014 at Shiloh Free Will Church of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, 26 Burr Street, Springfield, MA with the funeral at 12NOON. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Springfield, MA.
