Margaret A. Flynn

Margaret A. (Peggy) Flynn, 84, of Agawam, MA, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2025 with family by her side. Margaret was born in Springfield to the late Robert and Ellen (Garlick) Johnson on October 14, 1940. She was raised in Springfield and graduated from Springfield Technical High School. She moved to Agawam where she raised her family and worked at Heritage Hall until her retirement. Peggy loved her flowers and had a beautiful garden surrounding her beloved pool. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends playing games and listening to music and playing pool. She was a very talented crafter, knitting and crocheting to name a few. She is lovingly remembered by her children: Ronald Benoit (Laura) of Agawam, MA; Barbara McFarlin of Ashford, CT and David Flynn of Evansville, IN, 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Dennis Flynn, daughter Cynthia Francoeur, her sisters Roberta Panetta and Joyce Taylor. Visitation will be held on June 13, 2025, from 9:00AM to 10:15AM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA.
