Manuel Pereira, 94, loving husband of Joaquina (Goncalves) Pereira, passed away on January 10, 2021.
He was a lifelong Ludlow resident, born on July 26, 1926, son of the late Angelo Pereira and Ana Goncalves.
He retired as a machine operator from the former Uniroyal Tire Company in Chicopee. His passion was watching soccer and rooting for his favorite team, Benfica.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Luiza Ramos and her fiancé Herman Rivera of Ludlow. He loved spending time with his beloved grandchildren: Michelle Carvalho and Gabriel Ramos. He also leaves a sister-in-law Benta Pereira.
The family would like to extend sincere thanks to the nurses and staff at Palmer Healthcare Center for their compassionate care during Manuel’s stay there.
