Mafalda "Muffy" Marcotrigiano

Wilbraham--Mafalda “Muffy” Marcotrigiano, 87, of Wilbraham, MA died on October 25, 2010 in Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. Born in Springfield, MA on September 25, 1923 to the late Vincent and Santa (DiColamaria) Marcotrigiano who were Italian immigrants, she lived in the Springfield area all her life. She had several brothers and sisters, and leaves her two very close sisters, Anna Mae Marschall and Tenny Condino, of Springfield and many nieces and nephews. She was known as a loving, caring person with a great sense of humor. After losing her beloved sister, Tessie, with whom she lived for many years, her friends at the Wilbraham Commons surrounded her, enjoying the company of each other, especially on Bingo Night. Many thanks to everyone who loved and cherished Muffy. All are invited to gather at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC 25 Mill Street Springfield, MA at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, October 29, 2010 and process to a graveside service at St. Aloysius Cemetery, 1273 Berkshire Avenue, Springfield, MA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions directed to the family would be most appreciated.
