SPRINGFIELD – Luz C. Velez, 63, passed away October 29, 2014 at Baystate Medical Center with her loving daughter by her side. She was a happy soul who loved her family and music.
She leaves her daughter Luz Pizarro and family, Maggie Figueroa and Destinee Pizarro of Springfield; three brothers: Saul Vasquez, Joseph Velez, and Moses Velez-Vasquez of Michigan; one sister, Esther Velez of Oklahoma; three grandchildren: William, Kevin and Muryah Torres and one great grandchild, Christopher Torres. Luz was predeceased by five brothers: Antonio Velez, Monserate Velez, Wilson Vasquez, William Velez – Vasquez and Raymond Vasquez.
Funeral services are on November 1, 2014 from 12-2 PM with a service at 1:30 PM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA. Visit www.nefcc.net
