Lucille R. (Menard) MacDonald, 100, the wife of the late Gordon MacDonald, passed away on December 5, 2022.
She was born in Montreal, Canada on April 14, 1922. Formerly of East Longmeadow, MA, she was a fifty-two-year West Springfield, MA resident. She was previously employed at the former Forbes & Wallace and G Fox department stores in the personnel departments, Mrs. Macs Dairy Mart in Agawam, MA and as a greeter at the Westfield, MA Walmart retiring at ninety-six-years of age.
She is survived by her son Glenn MacDonald and his wife Deb of West Springfield, MA, her stepbrother Alan Malconian of CA and her niece Lorraine Cadieux of Fl. She also leaves seven grandchildren: Luanne (Rick), Bryan (Jennifer), Cory, Geoffrey, Gregg, Scott (Lindsay) and Chelsea (Jared), twelve great grandchildren: Keaden, Sean, Paul, Sarah, Starla, Ian, Hailey, Hayden, Chad D. MacDonald II, Joshua (Alicia), Tim, Jonathan (Kealey), Bodie and three great-great grandchildren: Declan, Madison and Landon.
She was predeceased by her son Geoffrey “Jeff” MacDonald, her daughter Jacqueline Jordan and two grandchildren: Robin Ferriera (Tim) and Chad D. MacDonald, I.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family. New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC, 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA has been entrusted with the arrangements.
