Linda J. Avery

LONGMEADOW - Linda J. Avery, 54, passed away on Thursday, January 21st, 2016 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Springfield, MA on October 26th, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Connie (Jarvis) Avery. She was a caregiver her entire life and loved spending her time caring for others. Anyone that had the pleasure to know Linda, knew she had an infectious light about her. She loved being a mom and mimi, spending time with her children and grandchildren. She leaves her daughter Stacie Avery Curtis and her husband Leon Curtis and their two children William and Natalie and her son Eric Bland and his wife Dawn Michelson and their son Xavier. Linda also leaves her seven siblings Kathleen Cooley, Karen Ouimet, Carol Barszcz, Connie Miller, Laura Avery-Gagnier, Collin Avery and Lisa Cross. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Family and friends are invited to gather on January 26, 2016 from 2-4 PM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA. A service will be held at 3:30 PM.
