Lillian R. Goulet

CHICOPEE-Lillian R. Goulet, 81, died July 29, 2011 at her home in Chicopee, MA. Born in Biddeford, ME on February 2, 1930 to the late Oremis and Ginia (Adina) Talbot, she had worked for many years at Willimansett Nursing Home. Lillian lived by her motto, “If you don’t even try to do something you have failed.” She enjoyed working in her yard and home and will be fondly remembered as a person who was always tinkering around the house. Pre-deceased by her parents, husband, Joseph Goulet, son, Robert R. Goulet and sisters, she leaves sons: Norman and Michael Goulet of Chicopee; brother, Marcel Talbot and his wife, Pauline, of Holyoke; sister, Simone, of Canada; grandchildren: Norman Goulet and his girlfriend, Danielle, and Melissa and Mandy Goulet and great grandchildren: Kailey Goulet and Connor Minnie. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 PM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA. Burial will be at St. Rose de Lima Cemetery in Chicopee on Friday, August 5, 2011 at 10:00 AM.
