Leonard O. Elie, 86, of Agawam, passed away on December 20, 2013. A WWII US Navy Veteran, he received the Victory, American Theatre, and Asiatic Pacific Theatre Medals. He enjoyed woodworking and beekeeping. Pre-deceased by his parents Omer and Eda (LaChapelle) Elie, wife Barbara M. (Tanguay) Elie and daughter Jacqueline Kinnear, he leaves his son Leonard Elie and wife Frances of Granville, son-in-law Jay Kinnear of Wilbraham and grandchildren Jamie Kinnear, Lisa Korth and Leonard Elie. Funeral services with full military honors will be held in the spring. New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC has been entrusted with the arrangements. Visit
