Lance R. Taylor

SPRINGFIELD-Lance R. Taylor, 60, died July 22, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield, MA. Mr. Taylor was born on August 23, 1952 in Ann Arbor, MI to George and Adele (Azary) Taylor. A 1970 graduate of Raime High School in Puerto Rico, he was employed for 42 years at Smith & Wesson. An avid bowler and neighborhood handyman, he was loved by all and will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Taylor had recently been ordained as a minister in the congregation at Springfield New Apostolic Church. Predeceased by his father on May 6, 2013, he leaves his wife of 36 years, Linda (Brown) Taylor of Springfield, MA, son, Kenneth Taylor and his fiancée Shameka of Baltimore, MD, daughter, Jacquelyn (Taylor) Bushnell and her husband Steven of Coventry, CT, mother, Adele Taylor of Chicopee, MA, brothers: Brian Taylor and his wife Eileen of Inkster, MI and Gary Taylor, Kevin Taylor and Alan Taylor all of Chicopee, MA; grandson, Landon Bushnell, mother and father-in-law, Elizabeth and James Brown of Springfield, MA, step mother, Virginia Taylor of Chicopee, MA and many other family members.
