PALMER — Kenneth N. Gibbs, Sr., 82, passed away on August 26th. Born in Springfield to the late Benjamin and Ada May Gibbs, he was a lifelong resident, moving to Palmer in 1993. A truck driver for 62 years, he retired from Praxair.
Predeceased by a son, Robin and siblings, Benjamin and Anne, he leaves his loving wife of 63 years, Mona May (Prime) Gibbs, children, Kenneth Jr., Barry(Vicki), Joseph, Timothy Gibbs, Mona Gibbs Rand and sister Patricia King, 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Services will be on Sunday, August 31at 1PM at Crossway Christian Church, 1130 S. Main Street, Palmer. New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC is assisting the family. Visit www.nefcc.net .
