Kathryn M. Hamilton

SPRINGFIELD – Kathryn Mary Hamilton, 53, passed away on June 2, 2016. Born on February 8, 1963 in London, England to John and Martha (Wilson) Hamilton, she was a world traveler prior to moving to the Springfield area in 2006. Kate worked in Information Technology and was a beekeeper for over 20 years. She loved anything to do with water, especially sailing, kayaking, swimming, and scuba. She was the New England Patriots # 1 fan. Affectionately known as “Cap’n Katey”, she loved anything to do with pirates and cannons. Besides her parents, Kate leaves her spouse Regina Kleiner of Springfield; daughters Andrea Lydick and Regan Kleiner of Springfield and honorary daughters Christina Dunlop of CA and Kaitlin Scianghetti (and her children Tristin Scianghetti and Lyla Feliciano) of Holyoke; brother and sister-in-law Ken Hamilton and Nicole Johnson of ME and their sons Neil, Sam and Nathan; mother-in-law Doris Kelleher of Chicopee; father-in-law Reginald Kleiner of VT; brother-in-law Derek Kelleher of ND; her brethren crew Dawn Jennings, Maura and Vince Fitzgerald, and Bob Silva; and many beloved cousins and friends.
