Kathleen H. Nolan

Kathleen H. Nolan, 80, passed away at home in Chicopee, MA on December 23, 2023. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on August 5, 1943 to Marjorie (Smith) Nolan and Elias Nolan. Kathleen was a student at Trott Vocational High School in Niagara Falls, NY where she graduated top of her class and also served as president of the school’s honor society, secretary of the student body and vice president of her junior class. She was also active in sports and activities; and was a member of the Red Cross for four years. After high school, Kathleen served the communities she lived and worked in as a nurse and caretaker of the elderly, pediatric, terminally ill and disabled for many years. She loved sewing and gardening and crafting. She cherished her children, grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was a hard worker, entrepreneur and property investor. She loved animals and was kind and generous and always willing to help family, friends, neighbors, and strangers. She was adventurous and full of life and lived her life to the fullest. She leaves her three sons: Robert Stock, Daniel Stamborski, and Gary Stamborski (Laura); brother, Gary Nolan, sister Phyllis LeClaire; eight grandchildren: Robert Stock, Ian Stock, Lauren Stetson (Taylor), Daniel Layton, Devan Stamborski (Katherine Taylor), Caitlyn Bolduc, Nicholas Stamborski, Nolan Stamborski, Gavin Stamborski and two great-grandchildren: Camden Stamborski, and Hayden Stamborski and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Andrea Stamborski, brother John Nolan and sister Marjorie Weber. The family will hold a private celebration of life at a future date.
