Kathleen R. Chaplin

Ware--Kathleen R. Chaplin, 35, of Ware, MA died suddenly on July 27, 2011 at Baystate Mary Lane Hospital where she had been employed for several years. She was a loving wife and devoted mother to her four children. She will be remembered fondly for the love she expressed with her entire family at special times shared at Sunday family dinners and get-aways. Most recently these included fun times at Six Flags with all the children. She enjoyed nature and camping. She moved to Ware from Chicopee when she was ten years old. Later, she began her work at the hospital where she was a Patient Care Technician. Her loving sister, Beth Anne Kane, is also employed at the hospital. Kathy was born in Springfield, MA on June 15, 1976 to Robert and Diane (Cote) Rivard. Pre-deceased by her father, she leaves to forever cherish her memory her husband, Robert Chaplin and their four children: a son, Hunter Owen Chaplin and three daughters: Brittany, Michaela and Joslyn Chaplin; her mother, Diane Cote Rivard; her sister, Beth Anne Kane and her husband, Jeremy, of Ware; nieces: Elizabeth Kane, Rae-ann Chaplin and Makenzie Chaplin; nephews: Kyle Kane and Jeremy Allen Chaplin and several other family members and friends. A tribute to Kathy's life will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 PM on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC 25 Mill Street, Springfield, Massachusetts 01108. The family is most appreciative of the support and kindness shown by the Baystate Mary Lane Hospital staff at this tragic time.
