Longmeadow - Kathleen P. Britten, 88, passed away on May 30, 2019.
Born on October 1, 1930 to the late James and Kathleen (Morley) Pierce, she was a sixth-grade teacher in the East Longmeadow school system. Kathleen’s hobbies included reading, cross word puzzles, animals (dogs) as well as her grandchildren.
Predeceased by her parents, her husband John J. Britten, her son Kevin C. Britten, and four siblings. she leaves her son Brian P. Britten and his wife Debbie of Chicopee, MA and her grandchildren Ryan Britten, Caitlin Beaulieu and her husband Zachary and Michael Britten.
The wake will be on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 from 6-8PM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC, 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA. Funeral Services are on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at 8:30AM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC with burial to follow in the Massachusetts Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery.
