Katherine M. Wilson, 62, passed away on November 29, 2020. Born in New Britain, Connecticut on July 16, 1958 to the late Annie Mae (Ellis) Wilson, Katherine enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards, cooking, going out for walks with her dogs, frequent visits to the hair and nail salon, watching wrestling and trips to Tennessee.
Katherine is survived by her son Alvin Wilson; sister Cheryl Moore, brother Corrie Wilson; grandchildren Alvin and Alisha Wilson; great-grandsons Ziymire Harris and Alvin Wilson III; great granddaughter Melanie Wilson, nieces: Talisha, Theresa and Cheryl Moore and nephew Jimmy Moore Jr., all of Springfield, MA. She also leaves her very special friend Bridgett Lockett and her son Jadan Dyer.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021 at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC, 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA beginning with a walk-through wake from 9-10AM and a limited capacity service at 10AM. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, 120 Smalley Street, New Britain, CT 06051. Masks and social distancing are required. For expressions of sympathy please visit www. nefcc.net
