Julie C. Avenia

MONTGOMERY-Julie C. Avenia, 75, died June 12, 2012. Born on July 4, 1936 in Port Chester, NY to the late John and Antoinette (Galasso) Caporale, she graduated from Greenwich High School and worked as a legal assistant in a Greenwich law firm. She and her husband, Joseph, lived in Greenwich for several years later moving to Stamford where they raised their daughters, then to Blandford, MA and eventually building a home in Montgomery, MA. She worked at Albert Steiger Company in Westfield, MA and later became a licensed real estate agent working for Park Square Realty in Westfield. She leaves her husband of 52 years, Joseph Avenia; daughters: Tresann Avenia of Holden, MA and Jolie Avenia of San Francisco, CA; sisters: Maryann Infantino, husband Thomas of CT and Anita Field, husband Thomas of CT; brother-in-law, Raul Avenia of NJ ; nieces , nephews, cousins and many cherished friends and former business associates. The funeral for Julie will be held on Friday, June 29, 2012 at 12:30 PM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC 25 Mill St., Springfield, MA 01108 with a visitation from 11:00-12:30 PM.
