WEST SPRINGFIELD – Judith A. Ferraro, 68, was Called Home on August 19, 2015 after a short battle with cancer. Born in Rhode Island, she was the only child of Stanley and Dorothy (Gautreau) Steele.
She proudly served her country in the United States Air Force, stationed at Keesler Air Force Base, Biloxi, MS. It was there that she met Angelo Ferraro and they were married on February 7, 1986. She will be remembered for her kind, loving, warm-hearted nature and her love for animals.
Predeceased by her parents and son Timothy Hampton, she leaves her husband Angelo of West Springfield and cousins.
Private services will be held on August 25, 2015 at New Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA, proceeding to the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery for burial with military honors.
