Springfield – Juan Santiago Reyes, 100 years old, husband of the late Angelina (Sanchez) Santiago-Sanchez, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 19, 2018.
He was born in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico on January 11, 1918, a son of the late Adolfo Santiago and Maria Magdalena Reyes.
He is survived by three sons, Benjamin Santiago (Ana Arce), Ambrosio Santiago (Brunilda) both of Springfield and Domingo Santiago of Rhode Island, his daughter, Marisol Curbelo (Victor) of Springfield and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by four sons, Victor Santiago, Andres Santiago, who passed away on November 18, 2018, Miguel A. Santiago and Alberto Santiago and his daughter, Ana Santiago.
The wakes for both father and son, Juan and Andres, will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 6-8PM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC, 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA.
The family wishes to honor father and son for funeral services on Friday, November 30, 2018 at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC. We will begin with a gathering at 10 AM for a service for Andres, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial for Juan at 12 Noon at Blessed Sacrament Church, 440 Waverly Street, Springfield. Both father and son will be laid to rest in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visit www.nefcc.net
