Springfield – Joyce D. (Dorman) Pippin, 75, a lifelong Springfield resident, passed away at home surrounded by her beloved family on her birthday, Tuesday, August 15, 2017.
She was born in Springfield on August 15, 1942, a daughter of the late Stuart and Lorraine (Fontaine) Dorman. She was previously employed as an insurance clerk at the former Wilson Insurance Agency.
She is survived by her husband Stirling L. Pippin, two sisters, Joan Quinn (Donald) of West Springfield and Janice Murray (George) of Springfield. She also leaves two brothers-in-law, Stuart Pippin of FL and Lorin Pippin of CT and two sisters-in-law, Marilyn Dupre of Fl and Cheryl Patty of NH.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet on Friday, August 25, 2017 at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC, 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA for a period of visitation from 11:30AM – 12:30PM with a service at 12:30PM. Burial will follow at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Agawam, MA. Memorial contributions may be directed to Beacon Hospice, 815 Worcester Street, Springfield, MA 01151.
