Joseph Pino Florian

SPRINGFIELD-Joseph Pino Florian, 89, died February 23, 2011 in Chapin Center, Springfield. He was born on July 26, 1921 in New Rochelle, New York to Valentino Florian and his wife, both of whom were born in Italy. The Florians had three children, Joseph, Frank and Rita. Joseph had been employed for many years at Parkview Hospital in Springfield. His hobby was crafting bird houses. He also enjoyed taking Peter Pan bus trips with his wife, Malvina (Couture) Florian to Nashville,Tennessee, Texas and especially to Florida. He leaves his wife, Malvina, to whom has was married for 37 years; nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law: Alfred Couture and his wife, Julie, of Palmer, MA, Edward Couture and his wife, Patty, and Joseph Couture and his wife, Annette, of Springfield, MA; sisters-in-law: Christine Lessard of Springfield, MA, Shirley Sherwood of Feeding Hills, MA, Laura Stevens and her husband, Louie, of Russell, MA, Nancy Stengle and her husband, Steve, of Bloomington, IL and Beverly Towsley of VT.
