Joseph James Ducharme, born June 30, 1927, from Lowell, MA, passed away peacefully at home on July 5, 2020.
The son of Joseph and Bertha Ducharme, Joe survived his oldest daughter, Collette and brothers, Robert and Roger.
He leaves behind his beautiful wife, Marjorie, 5 children, Marc, Denise, Michelle, Celeste and Aimee, 4 step-daughters, Lynn, Jan, Laurie and Lance, 8 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, 2 lovely sisters-in-law, Rosalie and Rachael and his former wife, JoAnn Bills.
He had a lifelong interest in photography and music.
Though living in Massachusetts, Joe and Marje spent long periods of time in Newport, RI following the jazz scene. Joe is remembered for his great sense of humor and kind, gentle soul.
The ceremony celebrating his life will be private.
