SPRINGFIELD – Joseph J. D’Angelis, 48, passed away on January 19, 2017 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
Born in Springfield, MA on September 29, 1968 to Joseph and Cynthia (Beyette) D’Angelis, he was a lifelong resident and a dedicated employee at Home Depot in Wilbraham. He will be remembered as having a good sense of humor, a jack of all trades, an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan and one who enjoyed computers, the Rhode Island beaches, tending to his vegetable garden and cooking. He was involved in his childrens’ sports events.
He leaves to cherish his memory his father Joseph D’Angelis and his wife Barbara of Springfield, his mother Cynthia Fisher of West Springfield and her companion Stanley Vilakis of Springfield, his children Jeremy of Huntington, Kyle, Alanna and Alicia of Agawam, his former wife Kim Sypit, his only sibling and sister to whom he was very close, Lisa Whitehead and her children, Anthony and Nicholas Whitehead of Southwick.
