Jose A. Gonzalez Sr.

Ludlow, MA - Jose A. Gonzalez, Sr., 76, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on December 19, 2024. He was born in San German, Puerto Rico on April 2, 1948, the son of the late Concepcion Gonzalez and Fundadora (Santana). Jose leaves behind his wife Ramonita Gonzalez, his four children: Jose A. Gonzalez Jr. and his wife Marta Gonzalez, Raul Gonzalez and his wife Nissette Gonzalez, daughters: Maribel Gonzalez and Camille Martinez and her husband Alex Martinez. Jose also leaves behind his five grandchildren: Lucas Gonzalez, Jacob Martinez, Arissa Martinez, Anjouli Mora and Soleil Martinez. Jose also leaves behind five great-grandchildren. Jose worked for Columbia Manufacturing in Westfield, MA for thirty-two years as a welder. He enjoyed cooking, gardening, and spending time with his wife and all his grandchildren. He was a devout Jehovah’s Witness for more than thirty years where he holds the hope of being reunited with his family and friends. A memorial talk will be held on December 28, 2024 at 4:00PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 58 Wilkes Street, Springfield, with inurnment on December 30, 2024 in Oak Grove Cemetery.
