Springfield – Johnny Moctezuma, 43, a lifelong resident of Springfield, Massachusetts, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022.
He was born in Springfield on February 23, 1979, the son of the late Julio and Zoraida (Babilonia) Moctezuma. Johnny attended local schools and graduated from Roger L. Putman Vocational Technical High School. An avid sports lover he played football and basketball and could often be found watching basketball, baseball and football or playing Madden on PlayStation.
Predeceased by his parents, he is survived by his loving wife Julie (Moua) Moctezuma; his daughter Kyanna Moctezuma; three sons: Johnny Moctezuma, Jr., Everett and Braydon Moctezuma; sister Aileen Moctezuma; mother-in-law Seua Moua and four sisters-in-law: Linda Moua, Kathy Moua, Cindy Lee and Maizer Lee, all of Springfield. He also leaves other family members and many friends.
Services for Johnny will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 beginning with a wake from 10:30AM-11:30AM followed by a service at 11:30AM. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Springfield, MA.
