John "Red" Strong

AGAWAM-John “Red” Strong of Agawam, MA was called safely home on October 13, 2012. He was born in Waltham, MA to the late Harry and Ruth Strong. He was a certified Nurse’s Aide and worked for many years at Northampton State Hospital and then at Holyoke Soldiers’ Home, retiring in 1989. Red loved country music and had his own band for many years. He leaves his beloved wife, Louise (Lafleur) Strong of Agawam. We would like to thank Heritage Hall East for the wonderful care they gave him. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 1:00 PM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC 25 Mill St., Springfield, MA.
