John F. Sousa

John “Jack” F. Sousa, 69, passed away on October 20, 2022.
He was born in Ludlow, MA on August 27, 1953, a son of the late Joseph and Casmira (Pieczarka) Sousa, and brother of the late Joseph Sousa. He was employed as a floor sander for many years. He enjoyed playing poker with his friends and family and loved playing pool and softball as he was in leagues for many years. He was an avid sports fan, he loved the New York Yankees and the New York Giants.
He is survived by his son Jeremy Sousa of Holyoke, MA, his daughter Shelley Stevens of Troy, NY, step-daughter Amy Spear Medugno of Littleton, MA and four sisters: June Sousa of Ludlow, MA, Carol Vancini of East Longmeadow, MA, Marian Champigny of Chicopee, MA and Joanne Sophinos of Denver, Co.
A period of visitation will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022 from 11AM-1PM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC, 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA with a funeral service at 12:45PM. Burial will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery 1273 Berkshire Avenue, Indian Orchard, MA.
