John (Jack) Ryan, 57, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2022 after a brief illness.
He was born on February 7, 1965, a son of James Ryan of Wilbraham, MA and the late Maureen (Sullivan) Ryan. A lifelong Springfield, MA resident he attended Classical High School, Springfield Technical Community College and American International College.
He was employed for many years by the Springfield Public Schools and recently retired as a Senior Custodian.
Jack is survived by his father James G. Ryan of Wilbraham, MA, two brothers: Paul Ryan and his wife Patricia Woods of Springfield, MA and Timothy Ryan and his wife Valeria Ryan of Manchester, VT and his sister Mary (Ryan) Sullivan of Wilbraham, MA. He also leaves his niece Allie Ryan, nephews: Sam Ryan, Jack Sullivan, Michael Sullivan and his very dear friend Renee Marnell of Whitman, MA. He was predeceased by his mother Maureen (Sullivan) Ryan.
Funeral services have been entrusted to New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC, 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA and are private. Burial will be in Hillcrest Park Cemetery. Please visit Jack’s memorial page at www.nefcc.net to extend condolences.
