John G. Dixon, Sr.

Springfield – John Garrison Dixon, Sr., 86, a fifteen-year Springfield resident, passed away home on Wednesday, January 19, 2018.
He was born in Clifton, NJ on April 30, 1931, a son of the late Ormond and Mary (Bonney) Dixon.
He served in the U S Navy during the Korean Conflict and retired from the U S Postal Service.
He was a member of Faith Tabernacle Church, 15 Kibbe Road, East Longmeadow, MA 01028 and NARFE, the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association.
He was the husband of the late Frances L. (Kowalczuk) Dixon.
He is survived by his son John Garrison Dixon, Jr., and his wife Helena “Josie” of Ludlow, and granddaughter Paige Taylor Wilkerson.
He was predeceased by his brother Ronald Dixon.
