Johanne C. Murphy

SPRINGFIELD-Johanne C. Murphy, 84, died June 21, 2012 at home in Springfield, MA. Born in West Springfield, MA on October 21, 1927 to the late Clifford H. and Dorothy (Dominee) Dibble, she had worked at Mercy Medical Center in the Housekeeping Department, retiring in 1996 after fourteen years of service. Johanne loved going to the casino and playing cards, especially poker. Pre-deceased by her husband, Edmond, daughter, Dorothy, her guardian angel, sons, Leonard Turcotte and Christopher Murphy and a grandson, Mark Plamondon, she leaves her daughter, Johanne Wilde of Springfield, her sons: Clifford Turcotte (Norma) of Agawam, MA and Shaun P. Murphy (Sandra) of Chicopee, MA; seven grandchildren: Peter, Christine, Andrew, Jeffrey, Shaun, Nicholas and Leonard and nine great grandchildren. A private graveside service will be held in Oak Grove Cemetery. New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC 25 Mill St., Springfield, MA has been entrusted with the arrangements.
