FLORENCE - Jo-Anne Moynihan of Florence passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at her home after a brief illness. Joey passed peacefully surrounded by her entire family and close friends.
Born to Frank and Margaret Stocki in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, she lived in Florence for 35 years. Joey was employed at Northampton High School and frequently expressed her affection for and faith in all of the students whom she served.
Jo-Anne is survived by her husband, Jay, children Jason and Rose of Dalton, Matthew and Stephanie of Hatfield and Katie and Dan of Holyoke and her grandchildren Haley, Jason Matthew, Brianna, Maggie, Ashlyn, McKenzie, and Reagan. She is also survived by her mother Margaret Stocki and her brother John Stocki and his wife Cathy of Palatine, IL.
Jo-Anne’s family wishes to express the deepest gratitude to the entire community for the support and affection that was shown to Joey during her illness.
