Chicopee - Jennie S. (Chwalek) Kane, 91, wife of the late William Kane, died at Mercy Medical Center on October 3, 2019.
Born in Ware, MA on June 3, 1928, a daughter of the late John and Katherine (Mastalerz) Chwalek, she attended local schools and retired as an auditor at Community Savings Bank.
Her hobbies were cooking, crossword puzzles, crocheting and gardening.
Predeceased by her first husband Joseph Landry, and her sister Jeanette Williams, she is survived by her children, Donald Landry (Patricia), Richard Landry (Michelle) and Sandra Podolak (Benjamin), all of Chicopee. She also leaves her brother Alexander Chwalek (Jean) of Springfield and will be sadly missed by grandchildren, Kimberly Mitrook, Joseph Landry, Nichole Joaquim (Damon) and Jeffrey Podolak (Tara), and great grandchildren, Morgan, Colin, Madison, Jacob, Emma, Nicholas, and Ava.
Visitation will be held from 8-9:30AM with a service at 9:30AM on October 19, 2019 at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC, 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA, processing to Oak Grove Cemetery. www.nefcc.net
