Jean L. Howe
November 26, 1925 — January 10, 2021
Jean L. Howe, who celebrated her ninety-fifth birthday on November 26, 2020, passed away in the familiar surroundings of her home, and comforted by her faithful canine pets, Penny and Calvin,on January 10, 2021. Jean was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother and great-grandmother.
She leaves to cherish her memory her six children, William, Michael, Lois (Rivest) and Barbara of Chicopee, Gordon of Springfield, and Donald of Brimfield. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald H. Howe, who departed this life in 2012, after sixty-three years of marriage. Jean was the last surviving child of William and Inez Londraville, joining them and her brothers, Edward, William, Charles, and Robert in eternal life.
Services will be private, for family only. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be at the Veterans Cemetery in Agawam, where she will join her husband in eternal rest.
The family would like to thank Baystate Hospice for the loving and compassionate nursing care they provided in making Jean’s final days comfortable.
