SPRINGFIELD – Jean B. Cool, 85, passed away February 15, 2016. Born in Springfield on November 15, 1930 to the late Peter and Louise (Locke) Brady, she was a graduate of Springfield Technical High School. For 13 years, she worked at Mass Mutual Package Machinery and Hamilton Standard until finding her calling as the best stay at home mom ever. Over the last 30 years, she enjoyed swimming at the Jewish Community Center and taking music lessons at Falcetti Music.
She leaves her husband of 59 years, Paul J. Cool of Springfield and sons Jeffrey Cool and his wife Bette of Idaho and their children Benjamin and Sarah and James Cool and his wife Joann of Southwick and their children Adam and Paige. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Betty (Cool) Walsh of NY and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held February 19, 2016 at 10 AM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC 25 Mill Street, Springfield with visitation from 9 AM until the time of the service. Burial will follow at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery.
