It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Janice Perez-Napoles, a vibrant soul who departed this world on Tuesday, November 7th, in Springfield, MA, at the youthful age of 59. Janice's spirit was as lively as her love was boundless, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Valentin Perez and Veneda Gonzalez, and her brother Raynie Perez.
Janice is survived by her four beloved children: Carlos Ortiz, Sasha Ortiz, Seadai Napoles, and Alexah Napoles, as well as her five siblings: Joseph Perez, Thomas Perez, David Perez, Russel Bigelow, and Veneda Bigelow, and six cherished nephews. Her legacy of love also lives on through her seven adoring grandchildren: Annaliese, Teagan, Sage, Feather, Nicholas, Marlon, and Layla.
Her spirit was as vibrant as her love, and she was sassy by nature. She had the incredible ability to turn ordinary moments into cherished memories.
Janice loved to travel, although there was no amount of money you could pay her to travel somewhere with a cold climate. Whether she was having fun in the sun or spending the day shopping, she did it in style, and you never knew what color hair she would be sporting the next time you saw her. Janice knew how to have fun, and was always the life of the party, but there was nothing she would rather do than spend time with her children, grandchildren, and most importantly, her fur baby Valentin. She always brought the family together with her love of cooking, and if you went to Janice's house and she was in the kitchen with the music blasting that just meant she was in there making magic happen. She always reminded the ones she cared about that love is not diminished by time or circumstance.
As we bid farewell to her physical presence, we carry forward the legacy of Janice's love, vivacity, and the countless joyful moments she shared with us. May she rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the warmth and love she blessed us all with.
