SPRINGFIELD- Janice Lynne (Merriam) Golden, 77, passed away July 22, 2016 at Wingate at Springfield. She was the daughter of Martha (Field) Merriam of Springfield and Kenneth Merriam of Glover, VT.
Janice is predeceased by her parents, her brother Kendall Merriam and a grandson Christian Heath. She leaves her three sons Dana Gumlaw, Barry Gumlaw and his wife Linda and Dean Golden; daughter Lori Valentin and friend Cathy Flebotte, all of Springfield. Janice was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday school and enjoyed knitting, crocheting and cooking.
Janice’s funeral will be held on July 28, 2016 beginning at 9:30 AM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC 25 Mill Street Springfield proceeding to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church 400 Wilbraham Road, Springfield, MA for a 11 AM service. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Park Cemetery. Her family will receive friends at the funeral center TODAY, July 27, 2016 from 6-8 PM. www.nefcc.net
