James P. Wright, 75, a lifelong Springfield, MA resident, passed away on February 26, 2022. He was born on February 8, 1947, the son of the late Ernest and Grace (Smith) Wright. He attended local schools, graduated Quincy College Criminal Justice Program and was retired from the Springfield Police Department. He was a USMC veteran of the Viet Nam War and a Shriner.
Committal services with military honors at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery are on Friday, March 4, 2022 at 10AM. New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC, 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA has been entrusted with the arrangements.
