James T. Pierce

SPRINGFIELD – James T. Pierce, 67, died on February 27, 2014 at Mercy Medical Center. Born on February 28, 1946, James lived in Springfield and was a member of Local #357 as an Iron Worker. He was always very caring by lending a helping hand to other people.Predeceased by his parents Raymond D. and Grace M. (Sullivan) Pierce; two brothers: Raymond Pierce and Robert Sullivan, James is survived by his daughters: Julianne Stone and her husband Kevin of West Springfield, MA, Veronica Pierce of Manchester, NH and their mother, Wendy Pierce; his son: Jamie Pierce, Springfield, MA; his brothers: John Baginski of Agawam, MA and Gary Pierce of Southwick, MA; his sisters: Marilyn Caldwell of Chicopee, MA, Ann Marie Smith of Agawam, MA, Judith Klein of Highland Village, TX, and Debra Cote of Ware, MA along with grandchildren: Briell, Alexus, Calli and Brendon Stone and Alahna Seymour. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 9:45 AM on Thursday March 6, 2014 at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC 25 Mill Street, Springfield MA followed by a Mass of Christian Liturgy at 11:00 AM in Sacred Heart Church, 395 Chestnut St, Springfield MA.
