Westfield-Mr. James D. Ingledue, 64, died at Noble Hospital on June 9, 2010. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he served in the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam War veteran. His professional memberships included the American Society for Quality Control, Tau Beta Pi (National Engineering Honor Society), and Sigma Beta Tau (Engineering Honor Society of Western New England College), and he had worked at Digital Equipment Corporation in Westfield for 21 years. His military affiliations included American Legion Post 124 and the VFW of Boston. He was an engineer, a competitive marksman, a volunteer at Westfield Barnes Municipal Airport and a parishioner of Christ Lutheran Church in Southwick. He is predeceased by his parents, Clarence and Wanda (Clark) Ingledue, and his siblings, Joseph and Margaret Ingledue and Maryann Fafard. He is survived by his wife, Linda (Sanders) Ingledue, of Westfield; son, Brian Ingledue and his wife, Laura, of Granville, MA; daughter, Janis Turner and her husband, John, of Stamford, CT; sisters, Carol Broyles and Cecilia Brister of NJ; grandchildren: Julia and Grace Ingledue and Sydney Turner. The family will receive visitors starting at noon on Tuesday, June 15 at New England Funeral & Cremation Center LLC, 25 Mill Street, Springfield. A memorial service will be held at 12:45 PM, proceeding to Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery for burial with full military honors at 2:00 PM.
