James M. Donoghue

Springfield-James M. Donoghue , 91, died May 24, 2010. He was the son of the late Michael and Catherine (Murphy) Donoghue. He had retired after 38 years of service with the Package Machine Company. He also served as Local 220 Retiree Club President. A sweet, kind man who loved his family, his pets, golf and the Red Sox. He is predeceased by his brother, John T. “Jack” Donoghue. He leaves his wife of 60 years, Marguerite (Kennedy) Donoghue of Springfield; his daughter, Kathleen A. Donoghue of West Springfield and his son, Daniel J. Donoghue and his wife, Annie M., of Arkansas; along with two grandchildren, Ellen C. and James D. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10AM on Saturday, June 26 at St. Mary’s Church, Longmeadow. Burial will take place Monday, June 28, 2010 at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the T.J.O.
