Inez Marie Lauterwasser

Longmeadow - Inez Marie (Johnson) Lauterwasser, 82, died April 16, 2009 at Baystate Medical Center.  She was born in Hartford, CT to the late Daniel E. and Catherine (Backstrom) Johnson.  She retired as a real estate broker from Vera Burger Realtors.  She is survived by her husband of 63 years and her 5 children: Lynn VanderMey of Fairfax, VA; Beth Holt and her husband Ronald of Vienna, VA; Steven Lauterwasser and his wife Marna of Tulsa, OK; Elaine Kirchherr and her husband William of Coventry, CT; and Debra Metzler of Manassas, VA.  Inez and Ted Lauterwasser have eleven grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren: Cirelle Lauterwasser Fitzsimmons and her children Josiah, Elias, Levi and Brielle; Jennifer Kirchherr, Christopher VanderMey, Ryan Lauterwasser and his children Paige, Haley and Willow; Jillian Kirchherr Carilli, Cheri VanderMey, Mark Holt and his children Savannah and Koda; Jessica Kirchherr Morrissette, Christa Holt, Isaac Metzler and Adam Metzler.  Inez will be remembered by her family for her deep faith in the LORD, her unwavering love for them and the generosity and loving-kindness she bestowed on everyone she welcomed into her home.  A memorial service will be held June 6, 2009 at 3:00 PM at Evangelical Covenant Church, 915 Plumtree Road, Springfield, MA www.ecovs.org .
