SPRINGFIELD – Henry L. Tatro, 73, died October 8, 2015. Born September 25, 1942 to the late Lewis and Marian Tatro, he was a Ludlow High School graduate and a veteran of the United States Navy. He lived in Florida for 30 years, returning in 2009.
Predeceased by an infant son Matthew, he leaves his son Henry Tatro, Jr. (Cindy); daughter Diane Baggette; sisters Rena Bennett (David) of Springfield, Faye Reid (William) of Agawam, JoAnne Sutton of Chicopee and Violet Gauthier of Ludlow; brothers Donald Tatro (Elaine) of Chicopee, Calvin Tatro of Colrain, John Tatro (Linda) of Belchertown, Jack Tatro and Josh Tatro (Bea) of Wales; grandchildren, a great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held October 16, 2015 at Bethany Assembly of God with visitation at 11:30 AM and a service at 12:30 PM. Burial with military honors will follow in the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery. The family thanks the staff at the Soldiers’ Home for their love and compassion rendered to Henry.
