Henry A. Andrews

Enfield, CT - It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry A. Andrews of Enfield, CT, who passed away on August 24, 2022 at the age of 64.
A son of the late to Mary (Hanes) Hawes he was born in Hartford, Connecticut on March 11, 1958 and was a painter by trade working for years at Letendre Contractors. He had a love for the arts, enjoyed jazz music, playing the trumpet, drawing and art. He was an all-around sports fan who enjoyed watching the LA Lakers, New York Giants and Toronto Blue Jays play.  Henry always had a smile, loved his grandchildren and was generous with them and enjoyed dining out and had a sweet tooth like no other.
Predeceased by his mother, three brothers: George Merritt, Arthur Andrews, Jr. and Ralph Hawes and his special friend Hazel Foster and her son Deon Foster.
Survivors include his sons: Jamaal Foster of MD, Henry A. Andrews, Jr. and his partner Nicole Podworski of Palmer, MA and Akeem Moore of Enfield, CT; daughters Tashema Richards (Kirby) and Latreace Foster of CT; brothers Philip Andrews and Roderick Hawes; sisters: Natalea Sullivan, Portia Andrews and Rachel Mayo; grandchildren: Sophia Andrews, Kenzie Richards, Macheka Foster, Mahogany Foster-Hopkins (David) of GA, Julius Foster and Marcel Smith and great-granddaughter Kamiyah Braco.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 10-12noon with a service at 11:30AM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC, 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA.
