Helen Victoria Chojnacki

Helen Victoria Chojnacki, age 96, of Granby, MA passed away on January 3, 2024. She was born in Gilbertville, MA on May 10, 1927, a daughter of the late John and Mary Majka. She retired as the Food Service supervisor in the Granby Public Schools. She enjoyed painting and traveling. Helen is predeceased by her husband Carl J. Chojnacki and her son Carl S. Chojnacki, as well as her siblings Matthew, Charles and Walter Majka and Anita Wypych and Olga McGuire. She is survived by her sons Russell J. Chojnacki and his wife Cheryl and Stephen A. Chojnacki all of Granby; her grandchildren Erica Chojnacki, James Chojnacki and his wife Brandy and Robert Chojnacki; her great-grandson Nicholas Chojnacki, her childhood friend Josephine Koczur of Brookfield, MA and many nieces and nephews. A wake will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 4:00-6:00 PM at the New England Funeral & Cremation Center at 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA. Family and friends are invited to gather at the funeral center at 8:30 AM on Friday, January 12, 2024 to process to Immaculate Heart of Mary in Granby, MA for a Liturgy of Christian Burial with Rites of Committal to follow at West Street Cemetery in Granby, MA.
