SPRINGFIELD - Harold W. “Harry” Paul, 67, died November 28, 2009 at Wingate at Springfield. Born in Lynn, Massachusetts to the late Albert and Barbara Ash Paul, he had previously worked at Columbia Industries. He was a very quiet man who, for many years, worked with the Springfield chapter of REACT, an international organization that provided roadside assistance to motorists in distress. He thoroughly enjoyed dance lessons at the Arthur Murray Dance Studio and participated in many competitions throughout the Northeast.
He leaves his siblings: Richard Paul and his wife, Ann Funicello, of Coventry, RI, Albert Paul and his wife, Edith, of Ludlow, Clifford Paul of Springfield, John “Willy” Paul and his wife, Nancy, of Holyoke, Martha Szczepanek and her husband, John, of Ludlow, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 2, 2009 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC, 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA. To express online condolences please visit www.nefcc.net .
